Anna Reyttova

Hi, I’m Anna and I graduated from Park Lane in 2024 after completing the IB, and even
though I was there for only two years, Park Lane ended up impacting me more than I
expected. I’m now studying an interdisciplinary degree at UCL, specialising in
International Relations and Mandarin, and I can’t wait to go to Shanghai next year for
my year abroad! Apart from studying, I tutor IB students and I’ll soon be starting an
internship at the Czech embassy in London. In my free time I try to make the most out
of London – whether by attending different conferences or going to the opera. What I
miss most about Park Lane is the sense of community. Everyone knew everyone, and
there was this shared feeling that we were all chasing big goals together and just starting
to build our own lives. University is exciting, but it’s also much more distant and
anonymous in comparison. IB at Park Lane prepared me well for university life – from
writing essays and meeting deadlines to questioning every piece of information I’m
given.
