Nelli Gaspar

Hi, I’m Nelli Gaspar, and I graduated from Park Lane International School in 2025. I’m
currently pursuing a double degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and
neuroscience on a pre-med track at Michigan State University in the United States.
During my three years at Park Lane, I was involved in many activities, from tutoring to
leading clubs. Additionally, I also had the opportunity to participate in research at
Charles University and VŠCHT, which gave me early hands-on experience that made
applying to university labs far less intimidating and allowed me to work in two labs at
the same time. Those experiences wouldn’t have been possible without Park Lane's
support. Personally, I feel like Park Lane prepared me really well for university by
encouraging independence, critical thinking, and open-mindedness to try new things,

and the IB program provided a solid academic foundation as well as strong time-
management skills that made my transition to university-level coursework smoother

and more manageable.
