Patricia Mlýnek Kuev

Hi! My name is Patricia Mlynek Kuev and I am currently in the middle of my planned gap
year, which I decided to take after graduating from Park Lane in 2025, where I spent four
unforgettable years as a student. After completing two intense and challenging years of
the IB (to say the least), I wanted to explore life beyond school before committing fully to
my goal of pursuing a medical career. My gap year has been full of new beginnings,
including working at Decathlon, taking a course at ČZU, earning my driver’s licence,
discovering new hobbies, and travelling and volunteering in countries I had long hoped
to visit. I am also preparing for the HPAT in order to study medicine at my dream
university, University College Dublin. The IB equipped me with strong independence,
time-management, and research skills, making this transition far less daunting and
preparing me well for the challenges ahead.
